Recent bird sightings

In anticipation of the upcoming water bird counts (CWAC) counts, happening around the shores of the Bot on the 8th of July 2023, a couple of botfriends set out to see what we could expect.

Though lower densities than we expected, there were still a lot to see, with one of the highlights being a Giant Kingfisher (Megaceryle maxima) towards the end of our walk.
